Psychological Psychotherapist

To expand the psycho-oncology team in oncology and palliative medicine, a Psychological Psychotherapist (m/f/d) is sought as soon as possible, full-time in Krefeld. With suitable aptitude, there is the option to take on a management position.

• Assessing the need for psycho-oncological support as well as counselling and accompanying people with cancer and their relatives in all phases of the illness, in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Conducting psychotherapeutic conversations for crisis intervention, stabilisation, acceptance of the illness and integration of the illness
• Active participation in a multiprofessional team and close cooperation with the professional groups involved
• Actively shaping and further developing regional networks and willingness to build networks in the region
• Willingness to take on management tasks in the medium term and to help shape the further development of the psycho-oncology team

• Licence to practise (Approbation) as a Psychological Psychotherapist (m/f/d) recognised in Germany, preferably with a behavioural therapy focus, or a medical licence with additional qualification as a psychotherapist (m/f/d) and an active continuing education certificate
• Additional qualification in psycho-oncology (DKG-certified) or willingness to complete it
• Experience working with cancer patients and their relatives and close contacts
• Experience in palliative care and strong teamwork skills
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing (C1) as well as high flexibility and willingness to commit to psycho-oncology work
