Nursing Professional Apprenticeship (3 years)

You will care for people of all ages and support them in maintaining or regaining their health and independence. After the second year, you can specialize in elderly care. The apprenticeship offers opportunities in outpatient nursing services, residential care facilities, hospitals and other care settings. The generalist program can lead to a qualification as a nursing professional, or alternatively to a separate elderly-care qualification.

Assess and determine individual care needs; organize, design and manage the nursing process; perform medically prescribed tasks; maintain, restore and promote the health of people receiving care; advise, instruct and support people receiving care; analyze, evaluate, safeguard and develop the quality of care.

Personal and medical suitability; 10 years of general schooling, with advice available on other admission routes; secure German language skills in speaking and writing.
