About this Apprenticeship

- As part of the team, you are the main point of contact for your patients and the key link with doctors and colleagues in other health professions
- Use your professional knowledge and empathy when listening, offering comfort and providing responsible nursing care
- Identify nursing needs and support people as they recover
- Your classroom and practical training lasts three years and ends with a state examination
Requirements
- At least an intermediate secondary school certificate
- Alternatively: a lower secondary school certificate and either a successfully completed two-year vocational training programme or a successfully completed one-year nursing assistant training programme
- Proof of medical fitness, available from your family doctor
- Empathy and a sense of responsibility
- Reliability and a strong willingness to communicate
