Apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician

Practical, 3.5-year mechatronics apprenticeship at AUGUST STORCK KG in Ohrdruf, with personal support and a team-focused atmosphere. Starts on 16 August 2027.

• Learn essential manual skills such as marking out, filing and bending in the training workshop.
• Learn machining skills such as turning, milling and drilling through various courses.
• Complete your basic training in electrical engineering, pneumatics, hydraulics, control systems and automation before rotating through company departments.
• Assemble, commission, maintain and repair machines, equipment and mechatronic systems.
• Analyse faults in mechanical, electrical and electronic components and help resolve them.
• Contribute to technical projects and learn to implement technical solutions successfully with your team.

• You have a good intermediate secondary school certificate or are working towards one.
• You are particularly good at subjects such as maths, physics, technology and German.
• You have an interest in and understanding of technology and enjoy practical, hands-on work.
• You have good manual skills and an eye for detail.
• You think logically and enjoy finding solutions.
• Working in a team comes naturally to you.
