About this Apprenticeship
The B. Braun health centre in Sigmaringen is seeking a diabetes educator / registered nurse to start as soon as possible. The role involves advising, supporting and educating people with diabetes and working with other healthcare professionals.
What You'll Learn
- Advise and care for patients with diabetes mellitus
- Create individual treatment plans and education programmes
- Provide individual and group education sessions
- Work with doctors, nursing staff and other professionals
- Help patients adjust their lifestyle and diet
- Document and manage patient data
Requirements
- Completed training as a DDG-certified diabetes educator
- Professional experience in advising and caring for people with diabetes
- Thorough knowledge of diabetes management and treatment
- Good computer skills
- Empathy and strong communication skills when working with patients
- Teamwork, organisational skills and willingness to work hard
- An independent and patient-focused approach to work
