University Internship Research and Development (R&D)

Aesculap AG, part of the B. Braun Group at its Tuttlingen site, is looking for dedicated interns for Research & Development for the summer semester 2027. In areas such as surgical instruments, motor systems, neurosurgery, endoscopy, orthopedics, biomechanics, biotechnology, orthopedic navigation or packaging technology, you can gain solid know-how.

• Contribute your knowledge to current research projects and product development
• You support day-to-day business, take on (sub-)projects and are integrated into dynamic teams
• Carry out tests and measurements with subsequent documentation
• Look forward to varied design tasks (CATIA)
• Contribute innovative ideas and help with technologization and digitalization
• You work in the lab (depending on department)
• You support with programming tasks (depending on department)

• Studies in biotechnology, materials technology, mechanical engineering, medical technology or a comparable degree program
• Very good English and German skills
• Lab experience is desirable (depending on department)
• Basic knowledge of materials is also desirable
• You are enthusiastic about the medical technology industry
• You have a solution-oriented way of working
• You bring high motivation, initiative and willingness to learn
• You ask for situational and structured feedback and draw on the experience of experts to build knowledge
