University Internship Group Sustainability

To support our Group Sustainability team, we are looking for an intern (f/m/d) for a duration of around six months at the Melsungen site starting February 2027. With sustainability as one of our core values, we make business decisions with a view to current and future generations. Why this position matters: Sustainability is firmly anchored in B. Braun's corporate strategy and is a central component of our actions. In the Group Sustainability area, you will make an important contribution to linking ecological, social and economic sustainability goals with the company's strategic orientation. As part of this university internship, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in the further development of our sustainability strategy and gain valuable practical experience in sustainability management and sustainability reporting.

• Support in implementing new reporting requirements within the framework of European sustainability reporting (e.g. CSRD)
• Conducting research, market and benchmark analyses
• Support in calculating Scope 3 emissions, evaluating emission factors and developing dashboards
• Preparing decision-making bases for management and various stakeholder groups
• Supporting community management for the international sustainability network by coordinating regular virtual meetings and engagement activities
• Maintaining internal sustainability communication channels, including intranet and SharePoint environments
• Supporting coordination of group-wide customer inquiries on sustainability in close cooperation with various departments
• Supporting the Project Management Office with organizational and administrative tasks as well as daily business and projects
• Participating in the organization and conduct of meetings and workshops

• Advanced studies in sustainability management, environmental management, business administration, economics or a comparable field
• Very good written and spoken English skills; German skills are an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SharePoint applications
• Confident handling of data and interest in its analysis and preparation
• Enthusiasm for sustainability and motivation to actively drive sustainable developments
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
• Analytical thinking and strong comprehension skills

• Team player with strong communication and organizational skills
