About this Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician at BASF in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, in cooperation with BBS Technik I. You take care of technical equipment, keep it running and improve it.
What You'll Learn
- Reading and understanding circuit diagrams, construction drawings and operating manuals, often in technical English
- Connecting electronic components or assemblies with mechanical parts, valves, pumps and hose lines
- Manual or machine processing of metals
- Commissioning, installing and testing finished systems, machines and plants
- Independent troubleshooting and repair of damaged components
Requirements
- At least a Mittlere Reife (intermediate school certificate)
- Reliable color vision
- Basic English skills to understand technical documents
- Interest in mathematics, physics and IT, enjoyment of technical and hands-on work and of solving complex problems
- Sense of responsibility, accuracy and care when working
