Internship in Automation Technology in Plant Engineering

Internship in the E&I Engineering unit, which handles modern automation technology for production plants and the further development of automation for investment projects.

• As part of your internship, you work on a demanding task in the field of "Ethernet in the process industry" and actively contribute your expertise.
• You also deal with Ethernet communication of modern control systems, Ethernet network components, PROFINET and Ethernet-APL. You also gain insights into modern automation solutions.
• You work on developing innovative concepts and solutions that combine the latest technologies with real applications in the process industry.
• Together with your colleagues, you implement concepts with process control systems from Siemens, ABB, Honeywell, Yokogawa and Emerson and support their practical use.
• Last but not least, you diagnose network topologies, evaluate the results and assess them.

• Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's studies in electrical engineering, automation technology or a comparable technical degree
• First practical experience or strong interest in engineering topics, automation technology and the construction of new plants
• Ability to work independently into technical concepts and apply them in practice, plus interest in modern technologies
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Team-oriented, innovative and independent way of working with strong willingness to learn and analytical thinking
