Technical Systems Planner / Drafter

BAUER is seeking a technical systems planner or drafter to create and manage electrical engineering plans and project documentation. The role involves working closely with project and site managers.

• Create and edit CAD designs, installation plans, detail drawings and execution plans, as well as switchgear, circuit and wiring diagrams for power and low-current systems
• Transfer and update existing and paper plans in CAD to provide accurate, current planning documents
• Manage plans, maintain drawing lists and ensure technical documents are stored and managed in a structured way
• Create and maintain project and property documentation using CAFM, and compile all documents according to the client's requirements
• Work closely with project and site managers, coordinate requirements and deadlines, and jointly develop technical and cost-effective alternatives
• Identify technical problems and risks early, provide important information to project and site managers, and support project coordination and improvement

• Completed training as a technical systems planner or technical drafter, or an equivalent technical qualification
• Confident use of AutoCAD and experience creating, editing and managing technical plans
• Ideally, experience in the technical and commercial management of projects and construction sites, with a good understanding of installation, execution and building services planning
• A careful, reliable, structured and independent approach with a strong focus on quality
• A customer-focused, communicative and dependable manner, with interpersonal skills and team spirit when working with project managers, site managers and other project participants
• Good MS Office skills, the ability to keep track of extensive documentation, and a responsible approach focused on finding solutions
