• Learn to confidently master the trade of energy and electrical engineering, from installing a socket to commissioning complex electrical systems
• Learn to work with materials, tools and machines
• Install and protect cables professionally for high and low voltage, communications and security technology, and automation technology
• Test and maintain electrical systems and prepare test and measurement records
• Learn and confidently apply occupational safety rules, health and environmental protection regulations, and quality management procedures

• Good qualifying lower secondary school certificate, intermediate school-leaving certificate or higher qualification
• Manual dexterity and an interest in electrical engineering
• Good understanding of mathematics and physics
• Reliability and a sense of responsibility, with the ability to integrate well into a team and new environment
• Ability to work independently, carefully and conscientiously
