Apprenticeship as a Retail Management Assistant or Sales Assistant

At BAUHAUS, you learn about sales, customer advice and product displays. After an introduction to the whole store, you specialise in a department. The first two years lead to a sales assistant qualification; in the third year, you can qualify as a retail management assistant. You can apply online without a cover letter. There is no application deadline.

• During your apprenticeship as a retail management assistant or sales assistant, you learn what matters in sales and customer advice
• You first get an overview of the whole BAUHAUS store. You then specialise, for example in the garden centre, paint, bathroom products or another department
• The first two years cover sales assistant training. Among other things, you learn how to order products sensibly and present them effectively
• In the third year, which qualifies you as a retail management assistant, you learn about inventory management and marketing activities
• You help customers meet their workshop, home and garden needs every day
