Sales Assistant for Timber and Building Components

Sell timber and building components and advise BAUHAUS customers. Duties include handling customer orders, managing product supplies, maintaining the product range and arranging promotional displays.

• Whether customers need construction timber, roofing, doors, windows or stairs, sell them exactly the right products
• Support your colleagues as a team player and work together daily to keep operations running smoothly and give customers the best possible shopping experience
• Manage product supplies, create and process customer orders, maintain the product range and arrange promotional displays
• Bring enthusiasm for sales and giving BAUHAUS customers the best advice

• Completed commercial or craft training is a good foundation, for example as a sales assistant, retail salesperson, cabinetmaker, joiner, carpenter, wood mechanic or roofer
• Experience in sales in retail, building supplies, timber sales or the hardware and DIY sector is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of timber and building components enables you to give customers expert advice
• You have strong advisory and communication skills, a focus on service, friendliness, team spirit and a willingness to help
