Dual Study Program Data Science and Artificial Intelligence - Digital Production (B.Sc.) starting October 2027

The Supply Center Grenzach is Bayer's central site for semi-solid dosage forms and produces well-known brands such as Bepanthen®, Bepanthol® and Canesten® using state-of-the-art technology. During your 3-year dual study program in the Digital Production specialization, you will acquire sound knowledge of mathematical, statistical and computer science methods to analyze large amounts of data, understand machine learning and develop modern AI applications such as chatbots, AI agents and robotics. The curriculum covers Data Engineering and Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Intelligence Engineering combined with Data-Based Corporate Management, Project Management, Business Models, Entrepreneurship, Design Thinking and User Experience. In the specialist departments, processes and connections are explained and you are given your own tasks and projects. In a three-month rotation, you spend time at the university and at the company and can apply your knowledge directly in practice. Your theory semesters take place at the Cooperative State University in Lörrach.

• You have successfully completed your Abitur or Fachhochschulreife.
• You show interest and enthusiasm for Data Science & AI in technical-productive contexts (e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation, smart factory, Industry 5.0).
• Your analytical thinking, initiative and enjoyment of teamwork characterize you.
• You show openness and willingness to learn for new topics and challenges.
• You have good English and PC skills, e.g. MS Office.
