Kitchen Assistant

In our company restaurant on the Beiersdorf campus, you ensure together with the team that colleagues receive delicious meals during their lunch break every day. In addition, you assist as needed with catering for meetings and in our Working Café.

You support our kitchen brigade in the preparation and cooking of meals. You prepare the counters in the food court for service, distribute meals according to specifications, and also handle tasks involving serving and final preparation. Serving and assisting guests at the counters and simple cashier duties are also part of your tasks. You are responsible for the proper cleaning of surfaces, equipment, and operating materials. You comply with internal regulations as well as hygiene and quality standards (HACCP) and complete corresponding checklists after your induction. You assist in determining requirements (meals, equipment) for the following days.

Ideally, you have completed vocational training in gastronomy or housekeeping, or have several years of experience in the gastronomy sector. You are communicative and enjoy interacting with guests, even in hectic situations. You work reliably, with dedication and a service-oriented mindset, keeping an eye on the big picture without losing sight of details. You appreciate variety in your daily work and tackle challenges openly. As a team player, you feel comfortable in a committed and motivated team. You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and can ideally also communicate in English with international guests.
