Logistics Systems Specialist

Help improve logistics processes and systems and shape the future of logistics through the Alpen 5.0 project.

• Support and improve the warehouse management system from a logistics perspective, including its connections to ERP, WCS, MFS and automation technology such as shuttles, AutoStore, conveyor and packaging equipment, and robotics.
• Turn day-to-day operational logistics needs into clear system requirements and assess their effects on goods flows and warehouse floor processes.
• Analyse complex faults across processes, systems and data, and provide L2/L3 support.
• Coordinate solutions with IT, software providers and other system partners, and clearly document causes and solutions.
• Support tests, releases, system changes, logistics system projects and Alpen 5.0 from business assessment through successful rollout.
• Analyse logistics, process and system data and use it to identify solutions and improvements.

• You have solid practical experience with warehouse management systems.
• You understand warehouse processes from start to finish and how ERP, WMS, MFR, SCADA and automated equipment work together.
• You can analyse the links between process flows, system settings and data in an organised way.
• You have experience analysing faults and providing advanced application support.
• You can clearly write, assess and document system requirements from a business perspective.
• You have supported tests, releases, system rollouts or major system changes.
• Experience with automation technology, ticketing systems, incident and problem management, or business intelligence and analysis tools is an advantage.
• You are willing in principle to join an on-call rota in the future.
