About this Apprenticeship
The University Clinic for Inclusive Medicine at Krankenhaus Mara is looking, as soon as possible, for a specialist physician (m/f/d) in psychiatry and psychotherapy to take part in the backup on-call service.
What You'll Learn
- You are available for questions about psychiatric patients and psychiatric issues from the front-line service and ensure specialist psychiatric expertise through telephone on-call duty.
- You assess acute crises and care for psychiatric emergencies outside regular working hours, often by phone or through on-site call-outs, especially in acute mental health crises.
- You carefully document your call-outs, decisions and measures during on-call duty.
Requirements
- You hold German licensure (Approbation) as a physician (m/f/d) and recognition as a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
- You have a high level of professional expertise and a strong interest in continually finding the best treatment paths for our patients.
- You have strong social skills, leadership ability and teamwork skills.
- You are open and empathetic toward people with an intellectual disability.
