Participation Manager | Bethel.regional | Ruhr Region / Dortmund

Bethel.regional supports people with disabilities, children and young people, and people with mental illness or addiction. It offers a fixed-term part-time position (24.96 to 26.52 hours per week) in the Participation Management Region 2 team in Dortmund, ideally starting as soon as possible.

• Conduct participation planning meetings with eligible people, their legal representatives and service providers involved
• Update existing overall plans in line with SGB IX, taking individual participation goals into account
• Monitor deadlines and time-bound tasks in the overall plan process
• Secure funding and procedural certainty through timely processing, checking responsibilities and close coordination with the funding body

• Completed university degree with a relevant focus, e.g. social work, social pedagogy or rehabilitation pedagogy (m/f/d)
• Knowledge of working with people with cognitive, mental and/or behavioral disabilities and of specific conditions and their possible effects on social participation. Experience in conducting conversations and in identifying and describing complex support needs
• Sound knowledge of social and administrative law, especially SGB IX, BTHG and integration assistance. Experience with needs assessment tools such as BEI_NRW and the HMB-W procedure
• Strong communication skills, reliability and assertiveness. Reflective ability, participatory attitude and willingness to handle challenging situations professionally and empathetically
• Independent and structured work, good time management, ability to set priorities and take responsibility for results. Confident use of MS Office and ideally experience with digital documentation systems
