In the Light Metal Foundry Landshut, we develop and realize production plants for highly complex aluminum components of the BMW Group. Technical planning connects product development, process design, and series start-up and ensures that concepts become functioning production plants.

• Support technical planning projects in permanent mould casting with regular feedback from your mentor
• Help analyse and assess production, quality and process data
• Use statistical methods to help improve processes
• Help coordinate internal teams and external suppliers
• Gain detailed insight into BMW's internal planning and decision-making processes
• Benefit from excellent conditions for a practically focused bachelor's or master's thesis

• Engineering studies such as mechanical engineering, production engineering or industrial engineering
• Interest in data-driven process and production facility planning
• Initial experience in statistical analysis or a production environment, for example through internships
• Confident use of MS Office
• Analytical thinking, initiative and a structured approach to work
• Good German and English skills
