Dual Study Program in Computer Science leading to Bachelor of Science starting 01.09.2027

From algorithms to Zero Trust: In the dual computer science study program, you travel through the entire IT universe. You develop software and translate operational requirements into source code. You also learn how to set up databases and complex network structures. Weekly alternation between practical phases in the company and theoretical phases (Mon & Tue university at FOM, Wed to Fri practical assignment in the company). Participation in current projects and deployment in different areas depending on the strengths and interests of the students, as well as taking on exciting practical tasks. Participation in practical projects on various topics such as backend and frontend software development, application operation, software engineering, databases, and embedded systems, as well as the construction and optimization of highly secure internal IT infrastructures. The study duration is 7 semesters (3.5 years). General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification with at least good grades in mathematics, English, and computer science. IT affinity and programming skills are an advantage. Structural and analytical thinking. High self-initiative and quick comprehension. Communication skills in dealing with different interfaces and team spirit.
