Works Council Assistant – fixed term for 24 months

As Works Council Assistant (m/f/d) at Carl Zeiss Vision, you support the works council team in organizing its daily work. With organizational talent, strong communication skills and a trusting way of dealing with people, you contribute to professional and reliable works council work.

• Supporting the works council in all administrative and organizational matters
• Planning and coordinating appointments and meetings and preparing works council and committee sessions
• Correspondence and coordination of written communication
• Creating, editing and managing meeting documents, minutes and presentations
• Structured management of documents and information
• Contact point for employees and trusting cooperation with managers, the HR department and other contacts
• Organizing works meetings, information events, training and other activities of the works council
• Responsible and discreet handling of confidential documents and sensitive information

• Completed commercial vocational training or comparable qualification, desirable
• Ideally experience in assistant roles, office organization or committee work
• Organizational talent, initiative and a structured and reliable way of working
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with people
• Teamwork, empathy and a dependable manner
• High degree of discretion and sense of responsibility
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
• Very good German and ideally English skills, spoken and written
