CNC Machine Operator Turning - fixed term

Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH is looking for a CNC turning machine operator (m/f/x) to manufacture high-performance products. The position is fixed-term.

• As a turning machine operator (m/f/x), you independently produce constantly changing mechanical parts on CNC lathes
• This also includes setting up, operating and correcting the machinery provided
• You operate turning-milling centers and lathes with up to 3 turrets and set them up according to existing setup sheets and work plans
• You are confident with Fanuc and Siemens controls and can make corrections up to production release
• In a team with work preparation and inspection, you improve program sequences and ensure the quality of the manufactured parts
• Depending on the machine area, you independently create programs and choose the right tools to manufacture our precision parts

• Successfully completed training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/x), cutting machine operator (m/f/x) or comparable professional experience, especially in turning and operating turning-milling centers
• Organizational talent and the ability to operate 2-3 machines at the same time
• An independent, reliable and responsible way of working, marked by very good team orientation
• Very good German skills
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
