Functional Owner Realization

ZEISS is seeking a Functional Owner Realization to join its Semicondutor Mask Solutions strategic business unit in Jena as soon as possible. The role leads product realization within development projects and coordinates production planning, production ramp-up and handover to manufacturing for semiconductor manufacturing technologies.

• Lead functional teams responsible for product realization within development projects.
• Coordinate new product launches.
• Define targets and ensure timely input from operations, development and other departments.
• Take responsibility for production planning, production ramp-up and handover to manufacturing, including infrastructure and building matters.
• Coordinate the project team, especially work package owners from operations and development, in agreement with the segments and other project and subproject managers (Sub Function Owners).
• Agree on and assign project tasks by comparing plans with actual progress, request and agree on resources with department heads during quarterly planning, and resolve resource conflicts with departments.
• Review available manufacturing capacity and implement measures to resolve conflicts with other product lines.

• A completed degree in natural sciences or engineering, ideally with a focus or additional qualification in production or product and process development.
• At least five years of professional experience, preferably in production planning and control and the introduction of complex products; experience in shop floor management and Kanban, agile project management, and preferably GPM Level B/C certification or equivalent.
• Strong commitment, excellent communication and teamwork skills, flexibility, the ability to work well under pressure and assertiveness.
• Balanced technical, business and interpersonal skills, a structured approach to work and strong communication skills.
• English skills sufficient to negotiate confidently, both spoken and written.
