The dual apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development takes place primarily in the BTS Development area and is theoretically accompanied at the Elektronikschule Tettnang (subjects: software application and development, IT systems engineering, business administration).

Practical training part in the BTS Development (Business Technology Services) area with insights into agile software development; conception and implementation of user-friendly applications and individual software solutions for internal and external customers, early assumption of responsibility and supervision of own development projects; familiarization with other relevant business areas for a holistic understanding.

Good secondary school diploma, technical college entrance qualification, or general higher education entrance qualification; fascination for current information and telecommunication technologies; interest in computer science and economic contexts, possibly prior knowledge of a programming language; enjoyment of working in project-oriented teams and high motivation; structured and reliable work ethic, willingness to learn, and openness to new topics.
