Apprenticeship as a Qualified Nursing Professional in Bad Dürkheim

You will complete a three-year apprenticeship as a qualified nursing professional combining theory and practice. You will care for people of all ages and work in residential and outpatient care facilities. In the final year, you can continue with generalist training or specialise in elderly care.

• Independently support and care for people of all ages
• Promote, maintain and restore physical and mental health
• Apply theory and practice in nursing, health sciences, natural sciences, humanities and social sciences
• Work in elderly-care facilities, outpatient care and residential facilities
• Choose between generalist training and specialisation in elderly care in the final training year

• Empathetic, reliable, independent and a team player
• Interest in medical, nursing and social tasks
• Intermediate school-leaving qualification or equivalent completed ten-year school education
• Or lower secondary school qualification with completed two-year vocational training
• Or lower secondary school qualification and completed training as an elderly-care or nursing assistant
