About this Apprenticeship
Our SeniorenCentrum Salze-Stift (in 32105 Bad Salzuflen) is located in the hilly Teutoburg Forest Nature Park, in 'Germany's Healing Garden' near Bielefeld on the quiet outskirts of Bad Salzuflen. Here we care for our 84 residents in need of care across five living areas.
What You'll Learn
- Accompany seniors in daily life with care, respect, and genuine affection – whether for personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, or eating.
- Help where support is needed, aiming to preserve as much independence as possible.
- Observe attentively, pass on important information, and thus contribute to care always remaining individual and high-quality.
- Bring in ideas, question old ways, and jointly shape the care of tomorrow – also open to digital solutions and new impulses.
Requirements
- State-recognized training as a health and nursing assistant (one- or two-year nursing training).
- Ability to work hand in hand across teams with all areas of the facility.
- Joy in dealing with older people.
