Customs Administrator

DACHSER is seeking a customs administrator at its Unna Logistics Centre. This full time position has a limited contract and covers imports, exports, customs documents and coordination with customers, authorities and the accounts department.

• Independently handle imports and exports and prepare all required customs documents.
• Prepare export accompanying documents and other foreign trade paperwork in line with customs rules.
• Communicate with customers, importers, exporters and customs authorities.
• Work closely with the accounts department to ensure taxes and customs duties are billed correctly.
• Carefully prepare internal billing documents and record all transactions.

• You have completed commercial vocational training, preferably in freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Professional experience in customs and import and export procedures is essential.
• You must be confident using MS Office and Atlas.
• You have very good spoken and written English.
• You work reliably and independently.
• Good communication skills, accuracy and thoroughness are also among your strengths.
