Warehouse Team Coordinator

DACHSER is seeking a warehouse team coordinator in Landsberg B Halle, Saale, at its Leipzig/Halle logistics centre. This permanent full-time role involves coordinating warehouse processes and staff in consultation with the shift manager.

• Oversee and manage processes within your assigned team, from order picking, goods receipt and forklift movements to loading, reporting directly to the shift manager.
• Coordinate daily staffing with the shift manager and ensure smooth operations.
• Keep processes running efficiently by ensuring industrial trucks and mobile data collection devices are available and organising replenishment to prevent downtime and idle time in your area.
• Identify potential obstacles to work and document and communicate process deviations as part of error and cost management.
• Support the shift manager in implementing continuous improvement.
• Implement and monitor compliance with workplace safety measures and maintain order and cleanliness in the warehouse.
• Monitor and correct employees' handling of the technical equipment they use.
• Carry out operational work alongside your team.

• Completed vocational training as a warehouse operator or warehouse logistics specialist, or several years of warehouse experience
• Some initial leadership experience in logistics
• A licence to operate industrial trucks and relevant driving experience
• Willingness to work hours that change weekly
• Motivation, teamwork and a solution-focused approach with a high level of initiative
