About this Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) at Daimler Truck AG, Gaggenau plant. What You'll Learn
- Learn the basics of manual and machine-based materials processing
- Get to know how pneumatic and hydraulic controls work
- Learn the basics of electrical engineering
- Read and create technical documents, also in English
- Become familiar with CNC, PLC and robot technology and apply your knowledge in practice
- Operate machines and systems in our vehicle and vehicle component production
- Assemble, test and program mechatronic assemblies, and maintain and repair them
- Troubleshoot machines and systems
Requirements
- A successful school-leaving certificate
- Solid basic knowledge of mathematics, physics and English
- Manual talent, technical understanding and great interest in machines and systems
- Sense of responsibility, care and teamwork, problem-solving skills
- Reliable color vision and spatial imagination
