As a mechatronics engineer, you work at the interface of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology and computer science. Possible areas of deployment: Production/Planning: Conception and operation of production facilities, adaptation and integration of systems available on the market; Testing: Conception of test benches, evaluation of measurement results from plants or vehicles, derivation of limit values and specifications; Development: Further development and improvement of electromechanical systems; Process technology: Investigation of new technological solutions regarding their usability and producibility, e.g. for fuel cells; Quality assurance: Development of test equipment and testing of components on test benches or in the vehicle.
