Dual Study Program Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration - Digital Business Management, starting 09/2027

On 01.09., we start with an orientation month: 2 weeks of practical phase at DATEV and 2 weeks of online theory phase at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW). From 01.10., your regular studies begin.

Provide consulting & support: You support internal departments or external customers with technical, process-related, and technical questions and continuously develop digital services. Connect business & IT: You analyze business and organizational requirements and develop digital solutions from them, for example using modern technologies such as AI or automation. Support data-driven decisions: You analyze data and processes, identify improvement potentials, and derive well-founded recommendations for action. Shape digital business processes: You participate in the planning, implementation, and optimization of digital and automated processes and products, helping to make workflows more efficient and user-friendly. Co-create projects: You work on IT and digitalization projects, assist with planning and coordination, and learn agile project management methods. Combine theory and practice: Attend lectures at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University at the Villingen-Schwenningen campus and complete practical phases at DATEV in Nuremberg.

Requirements: You have a general or subject-specific university entrance qualification with good results or meet the DHBW admission requirements. Digital affinity & business interest: You are interested in digital trends and want to understand how digital business models work and can be further developed; first practical experience in business administration is an advantage but not a must. Analytical thinking: You enjoy working with data, recognize connections, and approach technical and business problems in a structured way. Communication skills: You feel comfortable interacting with others, actively contribute, and can explain content clearly. Initiative & willingness to learn: You want to continuously develop yourself, topics, and processes and are keen to get to know new digital solutions. Teamwork: You enjoy working in a team, support others, and contribute to open and appreciative collaboration.

Supervision: We offer you an individual training and deployment plan as well as personal and professional supervision by competent contact persons. Combination of theory and practice: Your studies at DHBW Baden-Württemberg and practical work at DATEV complement each other perfectly. You are integrated into real projects from the start and can directly apply your theoretical knowledge.
