Apprenticeship as Retail Business Administrator

Together with us, you have the opportunity to obtain three nationally recognized qualifications within three years: Retail Merchant (m/f/d), Retail Business Administrator (m/f/d), and Trainer Aptitude according to AEVO! On the way to becoming a Retail Business Administrator (m/f/d), you will learn all commercial fundamentals at a trade education center. You will be supported by individual e-learning programs. In your practical phases, you will get to know the retail trade from the ground up and can prove both your service skills and your organizational talent.

In the practical phases at a store near you, we prepare you for service-oriented selling and skilled work. You actively participate in daily business and take on responsibility for organizational tasks in a store early on. The theoretical training takes place in blocks in cooperation with trade education centers. Taught there are areas such as marketing, business administration, personnel management, accounting, logistics, and sales.

You have an open, friendly personality with a weakness for shoes 😉. You can get excited about fashion and are interested in current trends. You like to be physically active. You have team spirit and are reliable. You are career-oriented and want to advance professionally quickly. You have an interest in business contexts. You have at least a technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife).

Own training team that further educates you in groups with other Deichmann apprentices on product knowledge and sales topics. Fixed contact persons through a trainer and a personal apprentice mentor in your branch, ensuring close support during the apprenticeship. Opportunity to complete a 4-week stay abroad at a Deichmann branch overseas if you perform very well during the apprenticeship. Whether wedding or move – Deichmann offers collectively agreed special leave for various short-term, personal, or special life events. Learning opportunities and exam preparation exercises – also on your smartphone – through our internal e-learning platform.
