About this Apprenticeship
During your 2-year apprenticeship in retail, we train you to become the perfect point of contact for our customers. Your personal apprentice mentor will be at your side. During your apprenticeship you will receive an attractive apprenticeship remuneration and additional bonuses. Whether you see yourself as a sales employee (m/f/d) in the future or want to further qualify as a retail management assistant (m/f/d): if you want to show commitment and make a difference with us, you can and may do so. As a sustainably expanding company, we have been able to offer our employees a secure workplace for several decades.
What You'll Learn
- The practical training takes place in a store near you.
- You quickly take on diverse tasks independently in customer advice, goods receipt, product presentation and cashier duties.
- Accompanying vocational school lessons, you receive regular training from our own training team.
- Individual e-learning programmes accompany you on your way to the final examination.
- We offer you very good future prospects: in addition to the possible continuation of the apprenticeship as a retail management assistant (m/f/d), further exciting career opportunities await you.
Requirements
- You have an open, friendly personality with a weakness for shoes 😉.
- You can get excited about fashion and are interested in current trends.
- You like to be physically active.
- You have team spirit and are reliable.
- You have at least a lower secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss).
What Deichmann offers
- Own training team that provides further training in groups with other Deichmann apprentices on product knowledge and sales topics.
- Fixed contacts through a trainer and a personal apprentice mentor in your branch, ensuring close support during the apprenticeship.
- Opportunity to complete a 4-week stay abroad at a Deichmann branch abroad during the apprenticeship if you perform very well.
- Whether wedding or move – Deichmann offers collectively agreed special leave for various short-term, personal or special life events.
- Learning opportunities and exam preparation exercises – also on your smartphone – via our internal e-learning platform.
- Every year we organise internal apprentice campaigns and competitions with a high fun factor.
- Staff discount for you and your family – so your favourite shoes can move right in with you.
- We offer you an above-tariff salary (including holiday and Christmas bonuses).
- Worried about your pension? – not with us! Through our company pension scheme you have the early opportunity to secure your life of tomorrow.
- Our employees are close to our hearts. That's why we look forward to celebrating your long service with you. In addition to the celebration, there are also anniversary payments.
- Even work that you enjoy can be very stressful. We offer our employees relaxation from everyday work with our health weeks in Switzerland. In addition, our well-being portal is available to our sales staff all year round.
- In our benefits portal you can retrieve discount codes from various companies and save real money!
- For employees who find themselves in an emergency situation through no fault of their own, we have our support fund.
- Local apprenticeship at one of our 1,200 Deichmann branches nationwide.
