About this Apprenticeship
DB Regio AG is looking for apprentices starting 1 September 2027 for the 3.5-year apprenticeship as an electronics technician for operations technology (f/m/d) in Kempten (Allgäu). The vocational school is also in Kempten and the training workshop is in Kaufbeuren. As an electronics technician for operations technology, you make sure the trains run and passengers reach their destination safely and quickly.
What You'll Learn
- You are taught an understanding of electrical quantities such as voltage, current, resistance and power
- You also learn everything about measuring, testing and diagnostic methods
- You also make sure that all electronic components in our trains, such as doors and info displays, work without faults
- As an electronics technician for operations technology, you also learn to analyze and fix faults in operations technology
Requirements
- You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school diploma is recognized in Germany
- Your German skills are at least B2 level
- You enjoy math and physics
- You are good with your hands and like tinkering with electronic components
- You are definitely a team player
- It goes without saying that you are reliable
- You also like to work independently
