Apprenticeship Electronics Technician for Operations Engineering on the Rail Network 2027

From 1 August 2027, DB InfraGO AG is looking for apprentices for the 3.5-year training as an electronics technician for operations engineering (f/m/d) in Eilenburg. The vocational school is in Leipzig (Eutritzsch district), and the training workshop is on Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße near Leipzig main station. Under certain conditions, support is offered for longer commutes.

• You work outdoors on the rail network together with your team
• During your training you become familiar with the maintenance and repair of control and safety technology, such as signals, point motors and level crossings
• You also learn as an electronics technician for operations engineering to analyze and fix faults in operations technology
• You are also taught knowledge of measuring, testing and diagnostic methods

• You have (soon) finished school successfully and your school qualification is recognized in Germany
• Your German skills are at least B2 level (for applicants with B1 level we offer an online B2 language course before training starts)
• You enjoy math and physics
• You are good with your hands and like tinkering with electronic components
• You are definitely a team player and reliable
• You also like working independently
