You look after electrical installations along the tracks - primarily you work outdoors in the fresh air During your apprenticeship you will become familiar with the maintenance and repair of signalling and safety technology, such as signals, point motors and level crossings Inspection, maintenance and upkeep of signalling and safety installations will soon become part of your daily routine Knowledge of measurement, testing and diagnostic methods will also be taught Your working day starts and ends at your regional base in Schwandorf, from where you set off with your team to the job sites

• You will soon have successfully completed school with the Mittlere Reife (intermediate school leaving certificate), and your school qualification will be recognised in Germany
• Your German language skills correspond to at least level B2
• You enjoy maths and physics
• You are manually skilled and like tinkering with electronic components
• You are definitely a team player and reliable
• You also like working independently
