Starting 1 September 2027 we are looking for you for the 3-year apprenticeship as Management Assistant for Mobility and Transport Services (f/m/d) at DB Vertrieb GmbH in Essen. The vocational school is located in Bochum-Wattenscheid. In the apprenticeship as Management Assistant for Mobility and Transport Services you will learn the basics of customer service as well as everything necessary about our travel offers and service performances. You will then advise our customers on travel planning, ticket purchase, and service matters in our DB travel centers. From the beginning you are a fixed part of the team and live our host attitude wholeheartedly. Dealing with modern communication and sales systems is part of your daily business. You will also get a look behind the scenes of railway operations and the cooperation between various actors at the station.

You have (almost) successfully completed school and your school qualification is recognized in Germany. Your German language skills correspond to at least level B2. You enjoy interacting with people from different cultures, and foreign languages are your thing anyway. Even in difficult situations you keep calm and maintain an overview. You are responsible, reliable, solution-oriented, and like working in a team. Shift work as well as work on weekends and public holidays is a welcome change for you.
