Apprenticeship Train Traffic Controller 2027

3-year apprenticeship as a railway worker in train traffic control at DB InfraGO AG in Haldensleben. You work in a signal box, watch trains, set signals and switches, and stay in contact with train drivers. The vocational school is in Schkeuditz near Leipzig.

• Your colleagues show you step by step how to operate the technology in a signal box correctly
• You learn when to press the right keys and buttons to switch signals (traffic lights) or points (crossings for changing tracks)
• You are often in contact with other staff in train traffic control and control centers as well as train drivers
• You are an important part of our team and enable our passengers to travel safely and on time on our trains

• You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school diploma is recognized in Germany
• Your German is at least B2 level (for applicants with B1 we offer an online B2 language course before training starts)
• You stay calm and keep an overview even in demanding situations
