Client Representative for Large-Scale Projects

We are looking for you as a Client Representative for Large-Scale Projects (w/m/d) for DB Energie GmbH at the Karlsruhe location as soon as possible.

• As a project engineer, you are part of the largest infrastructure project for rail travel and represent the client interests of DB Energie for joint projects in Saarland, Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate.
• You are part of the technical office responsible for the secure energy supply and ensuring the operation of 16.7 Hz and 50 Hz systems.
• In your role you are the contact person for all project participants and ensure proper project execution. As the head of your assigned construction projects, all coordination and decisions run through you.
• To this end, you prepare and review qualified task specifications in preliminary and design planning and apply for project approvals from asset management in the HOAI service phases.
• You not only take care of technical solutions, but also ensure organisational processes and optimal cooperation with authorities, service providers and internal partners.
• You contribute to the preparation of tender documents for contract award and approval documents for replacement and new investments.
• In your function you are the technical contact person for DB Energie for internal and external stakeholders as well as project participants.

• You have a successfully completed technical college or university degree in electrical engineering or energy engineering or in a comparable field such as industrial engineering with a focus on electrical engineering.
• Ideally you have initial professional experience, e.g. in the role of client representative or in project management of infrastructure projects.
• You are familiar with the relevant standards and regulations such as HOAI, VOB and can apply them.
• Your qualities include excellent analytical and conceptual skills, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking.
• The ability to network internally and externally and to maintain good contact with your stakeholders characterises you.
• In ongoing operations, safety has top priority - we ensure this through your medical fitness examination in the selection process.
• Business trips in vehicles with over 15,000 hp are a welcome change for you.
