Dual Study Program in Civil Engineering with Apprenticeship 2027

4.5-year dual study program leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with an integrated apprenticeship as a track construction worker at DB InfraGO AG in Magdeburg. Theory phases take place at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences; practical training is at DB InfraGO AG in Magdeburg, at the vocational school in Magdeburg and in the training workshop in Königsborn near Magdeburg. The selection process includes an aptitude examination.

• You start with a 1-month practical placement to get to know the company and your department.
• Then you alternate between going out with the track construction crews and working in the office.
• You spend time at vocational school and in our training workshop and support our colleagues directly on site.
• In year 2 you start your studies alongside the apprenticeship.
• During lecture-free periods you apply your knowledge in practice and gain valuable experience at your company.
• In year 3 you complete your apprenticeship as a track construction worker.
• After 4.5 years you complete your studies with the bachelor's thesis.

• You have (soon) successfully completed your Abitur or have an equivalent vocational qualification (vocationally qualified applicants must meet the enrollment requirements of FH Magdeburg)
• Your favorite subjects are math and physics
• You enjoy teamwork and manual skill comes naturally to you
• You look forward to varied tasks between office, planning and construction site with changing workplaces and working hours (incl. night shifts)
• Purposeful and independent work is a matter of course for you
