Track Construction Supervisor

As the technically authorised person, you take on safety supervision for your measures, act as a switching applicant and control the deployment of staff For smaller maintenance measures you also act as a gang leader, guide the deployed staff and ensure compliance with regulations You regularly carry out inspections on our systems – these include track starts, turnout inspections, measurements of the rail profile or the running surfaces of the rails as well as visual inspections In SAP you document inspection results including a proposed measure for rectification; for measurements with electronic measuring devices you additionally process the results in the corresponding databases You prepare for your inspections or maintenance measures and coordinate your staff, colleagues from other trades, the safety measures and external support As a substitute for the team leader and district managers you take part in measurement runs, evaluate the measurement results, initiate operational replacement measures and ensure prompt rectification of defects

• You have successfully completed your training as a track mechanic and the training as a track construction supervisor and acquired the additional qualifications as a safety supervisor and switching applicant
• Alternatively you have successfully completed the training as a track mechanic with the additional modules for inspections in the superstructure as well as standard qualifications as a safety supervisor, railway earth worker and switching applicant
• Ideally you have comprehensive additional qualifications such as further training as a rail technician or authorisation to assess measurement results after machine processing (MKS / DAS)
• Your strengths include a quick grasp of complex facts and technical relationships as well as organisational talent
• You are not afraid to work with new IT programs
• As a team player you convince with a reliable way of working and your strong communication skills
