Track Builder / Switch Mechanic aiming to become Superstructure Specialist | PRINS Team

From the earliest possible date, DB InfraGO AG is looking for a track builder or switch mechanic in the PRINS team at the Bruchsal site, with the target role of superstructure specialist. You complete a tailored internal training programme toward becoming a superstructure specialist and develop your skills further.

• After successful qualification, responsible for carrying out maintenance orders (inspection, servicing, fault clearing, repair) of infrastructure facilities correctly, professionally and on schedule
• Observing assigned budgets, central guidelines and plans and ensuring quality-oriented resource management
• Ensuring infrastructure facilities are available as required for safe, punctual and economical operations
• Safety planning and monitoring, and monitoring quality assurance of maintenance measures and accident prevention
• Administration and repair, carrying out inspection orders and deadline monitoring for devices, tools, measuring and testing equipment, fire extinguishers, fall protection and ladders

• Successfully completed vocational training as a track builder or qualification as a switch mechanic
• Ideally several years of professional experience in maintaining railway infrastructure facilities
• You like taking responsibility, show initiative and bring strong customer orientation
• Assertiveness combined with diplomatic skill, motivation and initiative
• Night and weekend work and taking part in fault-clearing or on-call duty are a matter of course
• Class B driving licence
