About this Apprenticeship
We are looking for you as an engineer and building automation specialist (f/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Düsseldorf location, as soon as possible.
What You'll Learn
- You advise on the basic assessment and development of preliminary concepts for new construction or replacement projects with regard to building automation at DB InfraGO AG
- Your support is needed in defining and drafting the task descriptions for planning station buildings and transport stations with surrounding railway facilities and interfaces to facilities of other business areas
- You provide technical consulting to project managers, station managements and other organizational units of the regional area in connection with construction projects
- Your goal is to apply the legal requirements and recognized rules of technology for the field as well as all technical framework and standard requirements of DB AG in regional projects
- You advise on economic and technical questions in the projects concerned
- You advise project managers on supplementary and warranty claims, carry out technical reviews of preliminary, design and execution planning for quality assurance, and support before and during upcoming acceptances
- You contribute to the assessment of expert reports and are our contact for supervisory authorities on building automation questions in construction projects
Requirements
- You have a degree from a university of applied sciences or university as a mechanical engineer, electrical engineer or a comparable field
- You have knowledge of control, monitoring and regulation systems in buildings at the field, automation and management level
- You know relevant network and communication protocols, ideally BACnet, as well as different computer network structures
- Relevant professional experience in automation, control and regulation technology or as the person responsible for building automation makes you an expert
- Initiative, flexibility and enjoyment of teamwork matter to you
- Your advisory skills with the necessary assertiveness set you apart
