What You'll Learn
- As a merchant (m/f/d) for freight forwarding and logistics services, you organize worldwide transports by plane, train, truck, and ship – for goods of all kinds from contact lenses to large construction machines
- By phone and email, you plan routes, calculate freight rates, and determine customs duties
- You negotiate with shipping companies, airlines, and customers worldwide
- You feel at home in an international team and dream of one day dreaming in English
Requirements
- Have a good school leaving certificate (Realschule, higher commercial school, business school, or grammar school)
- Have computer skills
- Be an English pro or want to become one
- Be interested in economic contexts and communication
- Bring organizational skills, motivation, and team spirit
- Convince with sense of responsibility, openness, and a hands-on mentality
