We accompany endeavors from the first idea through architectural decisions to productive launch and help identify risks early and address them pragmatically. Our task is not to formulate theoretical security requirements. We help teams implement these requirements in reality. To do this, we work closely with architects, developers, product owners, security engineers, operations teams and management stakeholders worldwide. • You develop security architectures and security concepts for new and existing applications and digital platforms.
• You conduct Security Design Reviews and architecture assessments, identify risks and derive concrete, prioritized and actionable security requirements.
• You advise our business partner Post & Parcel Germany on security-related issues and support sound risk and architecture decisions.
• You work closely with product owners, developers, architects as well as operations and platform teams and anchor security early in projects and products.
• You assess vulnerabilities and results from security assessments, scans or penetration tests and support the responsible teams in prioritization, mitigation and traceable handling of findings.
• You combine architecture work with technical practice and contribute yourself to technical analyses, proofs of concept, scripts and automations when needed. In addition, you support the further development of security standards, threat models and reusable security patterns.

• You have a technical education, a degree or a comparable practical qualification and bring at least five years of professional experience in the IT environment.
• Of those, you have at least two years of practical experience in the field of IT security.
• You have experience in Security Architecture, Security Design Reviews or the development of security concepts for applications and platforms.
• You have sound knowledge of established security concepts and frameworks, for example Secure by Design, Threat Modeling, OWASP Top 10, Identity & Access Management or ISO 27001, and can apply them practically to applications and platforms.
• You know modern application, cloud and container architectures and can expertly assess the associated security mechanisms and risks. Experience with Kubernetes is an advantage.
• You bring practical experience from software development, platform operations, DevOps, cloud engineering or comparable technical roles and can expertly evaluate technical implementation decisions.
• You understand modern development and CI/CD processes and know how security can be sensibly integrated into development workflows.
• You have experience with Vulnerability Management and can technically classify and prioritize vulnerabilities and results from security assessments or penetration tests.
• You work independently and structured and can convey technical matters understandably to different target groups.
• Very good German and English skills in word and writing round off your profile.
