Become a culinary professional. The three-year apprenticeship consists of practical assignments at the Landshut site and regular attendance at vocational school, where the theoretical content of the profession is taught. Theory: Theoretical knowledge is taught in block lessons at Vocational School 1 in Landshut. Usually, one week of lessons takes place per month. Practice: You prepare various dishes and plate them, organize work processes in the kitchen, create meal plans, purchase ingredients and ensure their proper storage. Training content that cannot be offered on-site is learned in à la carte restaurants in the surrounding area. DRV Bayern Süd operates a company restaurant at the Landshut site, known especially for its good cuisine. As a canteen, we have very pleasant working hours, as there is no evening or night operation, and holidays and weekends are off.
