Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering Trainee

Training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering, maintaining electricity, gas and water supply facilities. The training takes place in cooperation with the Westnetz Training and Development Centre in Niederzier or Regionetz in Eschweiler.

Installing, testing and repairing electrical components and systems; planning and assembling switchgear and control systems; installing cable routing systems and power cables; programming, configuring and testing systems and safety equipment; learning the basics of network technology; and constructing, commissioning, monitoring and maintaining energy supply systems.

Enjoyment of practical, hands-on work; an interest in technical processes and electronics; interest in a varied, mobile working day; interest in installing, testing and repairing electrical components and systems; interest in renewable energy; willingness to take on challenges; a Fachoberschulreife certificate; good grades in mathematics, German and physics; enthusiasm for technical processes; a strong interest in electrical engineering; good German skills; and three and a half years available for the training.
