At least a lower secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) or a secondary school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss). A grade of 3 or better in mathematics as well as interest in technical and practical tasks. Technical understanding and curiosity about how components and products are manufactured. Motivation to learn new things and develop manual skills. Team spirit, reliability, and a careful way of working.
