About this Apprenticeship
You make a difference in one of our more than 2,000 dm stores. Working times are arranged with your dm store in different shifts (morning, midday, evening) from Monday to Saturday. Mini-job/part-time, permanent, start immediately.
What You'll Learn
- Checkout: contact with customers at the till and a smooth end to their purchases
- Customer focus: make shopping at dm a nice experience
- Promoting offers: get customers excited about promotions at the checkout
- Advising: advise customers with competence and a smile and answer their questions
- Passport photo service: take passport photos according to biometric requirements
Requirements
- Service mindset: empathy, commitment and enjoyment of meeting people
- Skills: confident handling of cash and very good German
- Training and experience: your training is already behind you, career changers are welcome
- Activated eID on your ID document for the passport photo service
- Team spirit and motivation: pitch in as a team, agree working hours together, stay calm under stress
- Flexibility: actively take part in staff scheduling, align working hours with store opening hours
- Activity: resilience and stamina, as the work is at times demanding
