Deputy Store Manager 37.5 hrs/week

As deputy store manager you support your store management in securing the success of the dm store. You take on staff responsibility and shape the special dm shopping world together with the team. Working times are agreed with your store in different shifts (morning, midday, evening) from Monday to Saturday. Permanent full-time position.

• Core task: you represent and support your store management.
• Securing success: you optimise work processes from a business perspective and, together with store management, secure the success of your dm store.
• Developing staff: with empathy you support the personal and professional development of your team and train our next generation of staff with passion.
• Goods availability and cleanliness: so customers feel comfortable at dm and always find quickly what they are looking for, you keep an overview of the entire goods supply and presentation. Pitching in yourself goes without saying.
• Passport photo service: you take passport photos for ID documents and more according to biometric requirements.
• Organisational talent: you love being creative and plan, organise and carry out marketing measures and strategies.
• Staff scheduling: you look ahead and coordinate working hours with your team.
• Finding new staff: you support store management in job interviews and trial days.
• Projects: you like to take the initiative, think along and shape projects and plans together with the team.

• Customer and service orientation: With your empathy, commitment and joy in meeting people, you help us create the typical dm feel-good atmosphere.
• Organisational and leadership strength: With your organisational talent you know how to set priorities and have a feel for supporting and inspiring people individually.
• Training and work experience: You have commercial training and work experience in retail or in a commercial field, and already have experience in leading staff.
• eID activation for passport photo service: To transmit passport photos digitally to the citizens' offices, you need the eID activated on your ID document.
• Initiative, solution orientation and drive to shape things: You want to take the initiative, work self-determined, develop solutions and help shape a future worth living for everyone with our working community.
• Certificates: Ideally you already hold a trainer qualification and a proof of expertise for freely sold medicines.
• Skills: You are very familiar with Office 365, SAP, smartphones and digital media. You are also confident with the German language and with numbers.
